Skill-Based Competition
Majestic Mahjong emphasizes skill over luck. Compete with players worldwide by showcasing your strategic decision-making, tile-matching speed, and problem-solving abilities. Outcomes are determined by your skill level, planning, and adaptability, making every game a unique challenge.
Common Game Rules and Tips
- Matching rules. Only tiles that are free can be matched. A tile is free when it is not covered by another tile and has at least one side open (left or right).
- Scoring. Points are awarded based on speed, accuracy, and the number of matches made. Higher scores result from efficient moves and quickly clearing the board. Completing a board awards a completion bonus, and finishing under par earns a speed bonus.
- Tile types. Tiles include three suits (bamboo, characters, circles), winds, dragons, and bonus flower and season tiles. Any flower matches any flower, and any season matches any season.
- Fair boards. Every board is generated to be solvable, and in Daily Showdowns every player receives the identical board.
