Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about gameplay, credits, ranked competition, and fair play.

Gameplay

Can I undo a move? In Casual mode, yes — undo, shuffle, and hints are all free. In Ranked Daily Showdowns, moves are final to emphasise skill and planning; there is no undo or shuffle, and hints cost points.

What happens if I can't make a move? If no valid moves remain, the game ends and you are scored based on your progress. Every board is generated to be solvable, but the order you choose matters.

Are there penalties for incorrect matches? You can only select free, matching tiles, so invalid matches simply don't register. Using a hint in Ranked applies a small score penalty.

Credits & Prizes

What are credits? Credits are virtual play money used to enter ranked competitions and paid out as prizes. 1 EUR = 100 credits. New accounts start with 1,000 free credits.

Can I withdraw credits for cash? No. Credits stay in the game — they have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged or withdrawn for cash.

How do refunds work? Unused credit purchases can be refunded within 14 days of the invoice date. See the Payments & Refund Policy.

Ranked Competition

How do Daily Showdowns work? Each day, every board has one seeded layout that is identical for all players. You pay a credit entry fee to compete; the best scores top the leaderboard and share the prize pool, and everyone earns Victory Points based on rank.

What are Victory Points? Victory Points (VP) are a permanent measure of skill and prestige. They are never spent and drive your global ranking.

Fair Play

How do you prevent cheating? Every submitted game is independently re-simulated on our servers from the original board seed. Scores that can't be reproduced from a valid move sequence are rejected. See the Fairness Policy.

How do I report a problem? Email support@majesticmahjong.com — reports are handled confidentially.
